corroded VW Golf MK5 badge on rear boot?

The badge on my boot (which is also the handle to the boot) is all corroded and want it replaced but noticed it rather expensive (more than £150) and was wondering if anyone knew where I could just get a sticker the exact size to cover it? or any other alternative ideas?

The 2001, 6n2 VW Polo… does it have a torsion beam on the rear? Considering loweing car 40mm.?
