VW camper camping sites near a lake in SE England?

Hello I am looking for a nice site to camp with my VW camper I really dont need any electrics or showers I am just looking for a nice place to go camping would like to be near a lake or the beach. Would also like to know of any clubs to join with VW’s I can’t wait to get out there I am new to this country im from America and I think it’s beautiful here I just don’t know where to go..

    Hi, I have a camper van too, not VW though. I am afraid i don’t know any campsites that meet your requirements, I usually go west (I live in London) and I like to have electric hookups and shower blocks on site. I belong to the Caravan Club and usually stay on their sites. I believe I have heard of a club specifically for Vw owners, and I have found various websites in the past when looking for campsites.

    If you could extend the expiration of your question (on the action bar under your question there is a button that says Edit with various options) I will try and find some websites for you later, but I have to go out now.

    I just found this category by accident, I never thought to look under Sports which don’t interest me.
